Hazard Mitigation Plan

Over the last 3 years, Lapeer County Office of Emergency Management worked with the Genesee-Lapeer-Shiawassee Region V Planning and Development Commission to develop the Lapeer County Hazard Mitigation Plan

We are proud to say that in November of 2007, this Plan was approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In addition, we had 100% participation from all municipalities within Lapeer County. See “Fema Approval Letter
